This article focuses on the requirements placed on teachers when
organizing geography education based on learner-centered educational technologies; it highlights the role and significance of the teacher's activities, professional knowledge, and pedagogical skills within a learner-centered educational environment. Furthermore, it discusses the role of the modern teacher in fostering students' personal development and in helping them continuously gain experience to expand the sources of their own
